KPI Tracker with Conditional Formatting and 1-10 Grading Scale: Excel Template

This excel template was designed for managers to have an easy way to track how their business / organization is doing on a monthly basis over any 12-month period. A baseline is entered for what defines something scoring a bad/ok/good (red/yellow/green) result. Conditional formatting was implemented to change the color of the cell that the metric is entered in based on where the value is relative to the baseline values. 

A mathematical scoring system was implemented on top of all logic that gives a 1-10 grade to each department. On the baseline table data entry, each metric within a given department can be assigned a weight (1 to 50) that will affect how much the resulting score of that metric affects the overall department score.

The data rolls up into a final dashboard with conditional formatting by department based on monthly scores. A few visualizations are also automatically generated based on the monthly results as data is entered.

This template was recently updated with better visualizations and softer color choices for red/yellow/green.
