This is a professional financial model adaptable to the majority of industries, which allows the user to forecast the Company's profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statement (direct and indirect method).

The template is a 100% unlocked Excel file with fully transparent formulas that can be further tailored to suit your particular needs. The model has been constructed in line with Best Practice Spreadsheet Modelling Standards. This means that it includes a table of contents, hyperlink navigation, clear assumption cells, error checking, scenarios analysis, data validation, simple formulae and a host of other security and structural benefits.

All of the computational analysis within the model is performed on a monthly basis. This gives the granularity to understand dips in cash, early ramp-up funding, detailed payback analysis and so on.

Model structure:

A. Input

B. Sales

C. Human Resources

C. Cost of Goods Sold

D. Overhead

E. Working Capital

F. Capex and D&A

G. Funding

H. WACC calculation

I. Monthly Financial Statements

J. Annual Financial Statements

K.DCF Valuation

L. Summary

M. Scenarios Overview

N. Model Integrity

Within the input sheet, the user will be able to insert almost all of the key drivers to the projections and outputs of the model. The users also have the possibility to include Sales Tax/VAT on the model, but if it's not applicable or not deemed as necessary the user can set the sales tax/VAT rates to zero.

The next part of the model is based on a series of supporting sheets: Sales, Human Resources, Overhead, Working Capital, Capex and D&A and WACC. Within this support schedules the user will find useful features, i.e. automatic calculation for revolving facility (draws, repayment), so any operating shortfall is always covered. Another characteristic that brings the model closer to the reality is the modeling carry-forward of operating losses.

The next section of the model work comprises the monthly and annual financial statements, Valuation sheet, summary dashboard and a scenarios overview.

The main end analysis of all the financial appraisal is the summary Dashboard. Much of the summary components are self-explanatory and enriched with very useful information/features like the Sources & Uses of Funds, the Working Capital Cycle , Gearing ratios, etc.

The model also allows the user to develop scenarios based on the variation of key metrics, namely quantity sold, COGS, average unit price and inflation rate. After modeling the scenarios, the user can make the comparison between them side-by-side
